NEWS ABOUT ME!
This SCREENSHOT
of google search results for the search term "MCSE
Boot Camp Veterans" was captured on Monday, September
22, 2008. The business referenced in 5 of the top ten hits
is CompTEC Computer Career Center www.comptec.com www.comptec.com
. CompTEC first engaged me to optimize their website a few
years ago. The keywords we optimized for then were computer
career school (16), computer career center(1), computer
career training(1). The school redeveloped its website and
for some time did not pay attention to optimization. Nevertheless,
the site maintained high ranking on Google (the number after
each term above is the ranking as of this date).
Recently, the school engaged me again to optimize their
site for their MCSE Boot Camp program which is sub marketed
to veterans. We achieved the results shown in the screen
shot above in just 6 weeks with only 30% of our optimization
strategy in place.
Your site can be in Googles top ten.

I have an ever growing spreadsheet for this and I
find new ones so often that it isn't really feasible
to post them here at this time. I am talking to some
programmers about converting my spreadsheets into
database driven applications. If we can do that successfully,
I will be able to feed the sites lists to the website
from the database. Stayed tuned.

I want a new laptop! Mine will be two years old next
month. It has a 1.8 dual core processor and two gigs
of ram. I favor 14.1 hp business grade laptops, so
I can get a really cool one with a faster processor
and more ram, for under $1000.
But, I am a small business and the laptop has been
my primary workstation for over a year. I backup my
data once a week to a portable USB hardrive. I am
perfectly comfortable loading operating systems and
the many programs I use, so I don't back up the whole
system. I have another workstation, and I have an
assistant who has a laptop and a workstation
Business is growing and we have a lot of work product
that is essential to continuing services to our clients
on our machines and we have been manually transferring
data with pen drives and emails. NOT A GOOD SET UP!
We have moved to a server based environment! We now
have a strong server with raid 1 and raid 5. The entire
system is backed up via remote access to a SAN at
one of my clients businesses.
There goes my new laptop money! Putting best practices
ahead of personal wants is always the best option.

CompTEC Computer Career Center, an MCSE Boot Camp School,
welcomes returning Veterans with low cost career transition
assistance. Soldiers who worked in an IT related MOS and
those with an interest in developing a career in Information
Technology can take advantage of a CompTEC grant that pays
all tuition costs not covered by their MGIB benefits.
(The Montgomery GI Bill act for veterans, provides educational
benefits for veterans. MGIB chapter 30 31 35 1607 for Army,
Navy Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, reserves, military,
active duty and enlisted.)
On November 11th CompTEC will host an HONOR Our VETERANS
open house. With Flags flying and fun foods CompTEC will
have Staff, Instructors and graduates on hand to answer
questions and show off the State of the Art Training Facility,
located just a few blocks from the Palm Beach International
Airport, in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Veterans with an interest in obtaining valuable Microsoft
and Cisco Career certifications in network engineering,
programming or database will want to stop by and learn how
CompTEC can help them get started on great civilian careers,
and/or gain valuable skills to further their military careers.
Veterans in Vocational Rehabilitation programs will be pleased
that the facility was designed to accommodate handicapped
individuals and the school is prepared to make any additional
accommodations to make their learning experience a great
one.
Steve Hatch, a veteran himself, attends Veterans Administration
Conferences every year to learn how he can better help veterans
in need of career training. “It is very gratifying
to help soldiers transition their careers and I am pleased
to be able to recognize and honor them once again with our
own Veterans Day event this year,” Mr. Hatch says.
Jim Vanderwoude, a Viet Nam era Veteran and former Prison
of War has been involved with CompTEC for several years,
first as a student, then as an Instructor whose Certifications
include MCSE, MCITP, CCNA, CEH, CISSP, has this to say about
CompTEC’s commitment to veterans, “This is not
just a November 11th once a year show. CompTEC is committed
to helping Veterans with their careers 365 days a year.”
The MCSE Boot Camp program is a favorite of Veterans from
around the world, who are able to fly in and stay 11 days
to participate in an intensive high concentration high impact
learning. Tuition, accommodations, snacks, some meals, all
materials and necessary supplies are covered by the MGIB
and the CompTEC MGIB Veterans Grant.
CompTEC computer school is proud to serve US Veterans and
is pleased to take this opportunity to recognize their service
and sacrifice for our country. Veterans can attend MCSE
Boot Camps and training programs for Microsoft Certifications,
Cisco Certifications and E Council certifications like CEH
Certified Ethical Hacker, to improve their computer careers.
Please RSVP for the November 11th event to help us in planning
and preparations, by calling CompTEC at 561-840-8080 or
888-491-9992. Email RSVPs to Janet@comptec.com with RSVP

CompTEC MCSE Boot Camp and Computer Career certification
center has updated their website to better serve MGIB eligible
Veterans who are looking to become certified in MCSE, CCNA,
CCNP boot camp certification programs. The new design makes
more information easier to access. Schedules, program information
and enrollment assistance are all one click away once you
get to the home page.
West Palm Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 30, 2008 -- MCSE Boot
Camp Certification Center announces major website updates.
CompTEC Computer Career and Boot Camp Certification training
center has certified hundreds of US military veterans and
civilians in MCSA, MCSE, MCSE+Security, CCNA, CCNP and other
valuable career boosting Information Technology certifications.
The cutting edge boot camp certification training center
is located in tropical West Palm Beach, Florida, 5 minutes
from Palm Beach International Airport. The updated website
improves candidates' ability to get the information they
want more quickly and will allow candidates searching for
MCSE boot camps and other training to discover CompTEC's
programs on search engines more easily. (see www.comptec.com
)
The exciting, challenging, effective MCSE Boot Camp is
one of our longest running and most successful programs.
Boot Camp style certification training strips away all
distractions and delivers high concentration high impact
learning. High impact learning is a result of unique, engaging
classroom interaction that gets you involved at the very
beginning and keeps you involved until you are certified.
It is time tested and proven many times over. Our professional
instructors are experts in their field. You will find them
personable, approachable and helpful above and beyond the
call of duty.
Invariably, graduates comment, "I never thought I
could learn so much, so fast."
The MCSE Boot Camp Certification program is particularly
attractive to MGIB eligible veterans. Military veterans
have been flying in, staying from 7 - 21 days, and leaving
with certifications that demonstrate they are professionals,
knowledgeable in their fields.
Using their MGIB education benefits and other available
funding, veterans can complete thousands of dollars worth
of training while spending only a few dollars of their own.
The program is such a great deal it has been written up
in virtually every major military magazine. ARMY TIMES,
NAVY TIMES, MILITARY TIMES, MILITARY LTD, and many others.
Veterans from around the world have taken advantage of this
fast track boot camp certification training to improve their
military careers, or their post military careers. Steve
Hatch, owner and operator of CompTEC, and a veteran himself,
notes that despite helping MGIB MCSE boot camp candidates
become certified for several years many soldiers still have
not heard of the program.
"Updating our website will help even more veterans
become aware of the program," Mr. Hatch said.
Economies may stumble and falter, but information technology
will always grow. More networks, more programs, more applications
are created everyday. It will require a trained and experienced
workforce to keep up with the non stop growth of technology.
Information Technology Certification programs like CompTEC
MCSE Boot Camp certification will continue to help fill
that ever growing need. [end press release]
